Our equity holdings in the 200-bed Apollo Bramwell Hospital and associated pharmaceutical and medical training companies are in joint venture with the Apollo Hospitals Group, which is Asia’s largest healthcare provider. Apollo Hospitals has more than 40 hospitals throughout Asia and is a well-known innovator and is amongst the top exporters of medical services to Europe and North America.

The Apollo Bramwell Hospital in Mauritius is scheduled to open in 2009. It will house centres of excellence in cardiology and cardiothoracic surgery, neurology and neurosurgery, nephrology and opthalmology, neonatology and paediatrics, trauma and cosmetic surgery.

While offering a unique blend of holistic medicine and complementary therapies such as ayurveda, acupuncture, aromatherapy and music therapy, the hospital will be supported by state-of-the-art radiology, imaging and laboratory facilities.

The hospital will be a centre of excellence for the region and also a potential leader in medical tourism in Mauritius and the region.
