MR. DAWOOD A. RAWAT
Mr. Dawood A. Rawat was appointed as Director of British American Investment Co. (Mtius) Ltd in February 2002. He is the Chairman Emeritus of the British American Group of Companies, founded in 1920. He sits on a number of Boards of the principal subsidiary and associated companies of the British American Group. Operations span from Mauritius to Kenya, Malta and the United Kingdom. Mr. Rawat moved to the United States in 1984 as a senior officer and was made President of the worldwide group in 1988 and Chairman in 1990. He was Head of the Mauritius Employer’s Federation in 1981 and a member of the Commission of the Prerogative of Mercy from 1982 to 1983. He was also a member of the Mauritius Chamber of Commerce for a number of years and was instrumental in the establishment of the Mauritian Insurance Association. He is involved mainly in strategic issues and the development of new business ventures in new markets for the British American Group.
MR. J. NICHOLAS ASHFORD-HODGES (Chairman)
Mr. Ashford-Hodges was appointed as Director of British American Investment Co. (Mtius) Ltd in February 2002 and subsequently as Chairman in February 2012. He is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales and holds an MA from Oxford University in Engineering Science. As well as being President of British-American (UK) Ltd, a representative office in the UK for the British American Investment Group, Mr. Ashford-Hodges is the Chairperson of British American Investment Co. (Mtius) Ltd and a member of several other Boards and sub-committees of the British American Investment Group. He is also the Chairperson of Bramer Corporation Limited, the holding company of companies operating within the Financial Services Sector of the British American Investment Group, of British American Investments Company (Kenya) Ltd, listed on the Nairobi Stock Exchange, and of GlobalCapital .l.c. , listed on the Malta Stock Exchange.
MR. AYOOB M. H. RAWAT
Mr. Rawat, appointed to the Board in 2005, is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales and a member of the Swiss Association of Certified Accountants and Tax Consultants. Mr. Rawat is also a Director of GlobalCapital Life Insurance Ltd in Malta and a member of various sub-committees of the British American Group. He has more than 20 years international banking experience having occupied senior positions in London and Geneva, and now runs a Swiss-based company specialising in investment control and monitoring.
MR. SULLEMAN A. RAWAT (Non-Executive Director)
Mr Sulleman A. Rawat was appointed Director on the Board of British American Investment Co. (Mtius) Ltd in November 2010. He has extensive experience in the banking sector having worked for 18 years in banking institutions based in Mauritius and Dubai prior to joining British American Exchange Co. Ltd (“BA Exchange”) in 1996. Mr Rawat was appointed as Director on the Board of BA Exchange in 1999 and thereafter appointed as President and CEO of the company. He is also Chairman and Non- Executive Director of the Board of the BRAMCOM Holding Ltd and also sits on several Boards of subsidiaries within the British American Investment Group.”
MR. MOUSSA I. RAWAT
Mr. Moussa I. Rawat was appointed as Director of British American Investment Co. (Mtius) Ltd on 14 February 2012. Holder of a B. (Hons) Civil Engineering from Edinburgh University (UK), Mr. Moussa Rawat started his career as a graduate structural engineer at Limbada and Limbada in 1999 and was later appointed as Project Engineer. In 2001, he moved to DTP Terrasement Bouygues Travaux Publique, Joint Venture at the Midlands Dam project and Route National Ngaoundere Touboro Road in Cameroun, as Head of Quality Control and Acting Quality Assurance Manager. Mr. Moussa Rawat joined IREKO in 2004 as Contract Manager and in 2007 assumed the role of Chief Operating Officer of IREKO Construction Ltd. He has worked on prestigious projects like the Apollo Bramwell Hospital, Forest Garden and the Diplomat Garden. In 2012, Mr. Rawat was appointed Chairman of Bramser Services Group Ltd.
MR CLAUDIO A. S. FEISTRITZER (Non-Executive Director)
Mr. Claudio A. S. Feistritzer was appointed Director on the Board of British American Investment Co. (Mtius) Ltd in February 2012. He holds a degree in Tourism & Hotel Management and has worked for various European and American institutions at a managerial level. Since 2005 Mr. Feistritzer has been heading the Tourism & Leisure Division of the British American Investment Group. Mr Feistritzer has been appointed Vice Chairman of the Board of The BRAMCOM Holding Ltd in December 2010 and also sits on several Boards of subsidiaries within the British American Investment Group.”
MR. ISHACK A. RAWAT
Mr. Rawat was appointed as Director of British American Investment Co. (Mtius) in March 2012. He has worked for various British and French institutions at a managerial level in the UK from 1974 to 2001. He was with the French Railways Group from 1985 to 1997, in charge of accounting and finance. He joined the Alliance Française (UK) in 1997 and acted as Finance Manager until 2000.
